You should never breed dogs if you dont know what your doing. Its a very good chance you could kill the mother and its babies.

some of these know it all so called dog breeding experts do my head in. Most of the tripe they come out with is wrong and they only get on their high horse because they are breeders and probably worse because they breed to show dogs and inbreed them and do all sorts of un-natural things to get the perfect look. Next they will be whitening their teeth so do shut up. vets are all dirty robbing bastards to making money from animal lovers to feather their own little nests!!!

Here, I get it that you are in need of education.
    • if done before 1 year of age, significantly increases the risk of osteosarcoma (bone cancer); this is a
common cancer in larger breeds with a poor prognosis
    next coming up…

maybe it doesn’t cost anything to you because you are a Back Yard Breeder !!! A BYB doesn’t care about the health of her dam before breeding. However a Responsible Breeder dose care about her Dam so he dose take her to the vet wile the dam is pregnant. and a C section cost depends on the size, weight, and how many puppies she is going to have.
Why don’t you do research before you talk

and spaying/neutering your dog prevents such thing as Cancer stupid !!!

  16. sharlamaben said:

Where did you get your dollar figures from? It doesnt cost anything while a dog is pregnant, except she will eat twice as much. And c cections cost around $150 to $250, and are rare. Spaying a healthy dog actually causes ovarian cancer. Read your facts.

in that case i will try to get my dad’s friends that are veterenarians live in mexico i can ask them to come over here and they will do it for free

  18. bankg92 said:

why is it just because they are cute ?
do you have a least 5,000 to cover the vet bills wile she is pregnant? and do you have another 5,000 just encase she needs and emergency c-section?
I really doubt you have that kind of money you should just get her spayed.

  19. tenkaichi2master23 said:

    oh i want puppies

  20. bankg92 said:

get your dog spayed if you don’t want puppies or if you are not going to breed her

my dog is pregnate and is breathing very heavily but nothing happens..so what should i do?

  22. Magiic96 said:

Her vulva may swell, she’ll urinate a lot, towards the end of it she may have a “false pregnancy” meaning mammary glands may swell and she may act pregnant, but she is not pregnant

  23. tenkaichi2master23 said:

what happens other than the bleeding

  24. Magiic96 said:

She’s going through her heat cycle

Approximately 6 to 8 million animals are handled by animal shelters in the United States each year. Some are reclaimed or adopted, but nearly 4 million unwanted dogs and cats are left with nowhere to go.
